Frequently asked

Why doesn't the route enter the park I asked for ?

The algorithm steers your loop toward parks, footways, canals, and pedestrian zones — but it can't force the route through closed paths (private gardens, parks with restricted hours that OSM doesn't tag clearly, etc.). If a specific area is consistently skipped, drop us a line — we'll investigate.

My daily limit shows "3/3", how do I get more ?

The free tier is 3 generations per UTC day. The counter resets at midnight UTC (1 AM Paris, 8 PM New York). Upgrade to Pro (€4.99 one-time, no subscription) for unlimited loops + voice guidance + city packs + GPX export + last-loop offline.

Is my position really not stored ?

Correct. Your GPS position is rounded to 3 decimals (~110 m) before being sent to our backend, used for one HTTP request, then discarded. The cache key for the route uses only that rounded location, never your device ID, never your name. See the full privacy policy for the technical details.

How do I export a loop to my Garmin / Apple Watch ?

Pro users can export any saved loop as a GPX file from the loop detail screen, then share it to Garmin Connect, Strava, Apple Fitness, or any app that imports GPX. The export uses iOS native share sheet — no upload to our servers.

I lost my Pro purchase on a new phone

Go to Settings → Restore Pro purchase. The app queries the App Store under your Apple ID and restores your Pro status. RUNDR itself never sees your Apple ID — Apple does the verification through RevenueCat.

The loop is much longer than what I asked for

In rural areas or zones with sparse OpenStreetMap data, ORS (our routing engine) sometimes drifts 15-25% from the requested distance. RUNDR tries to compensate by ranking candidates by accuracy, but in deserted regions, the algorithm can only do so much. We're working on this in Axe 4 of our algorithm roadmap.

My city isn't in the curated City Packs

We launched with 5 cities (Paris, NYC, Lisbon, Tokyo, Berlin) and we're adding more progressively, validated by local runner ambassadors. If you want your city added, write to support@rundr.me — we particularly value contributions from local runners.

Can I delete all data RUNDR has about me ?

Yes, trivially. Uninstall the app. Wait 24 hours. The anonymous daily counter on our server (the only thing we technically have) expires at the next UTC midnight. You're fully wiped. Alternatively, Settings → Reset all data clears your local storage instantly.

Refunds

RUNDR is sold via the Apple App Store. Refund requests are handled directly by Apple (we don't see the transactions). Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select your RUNDR purchase.

That said : if you bought Pro and the app doesn't work for your use case, write to us — we'll do our best to help, and if the issue is on our side, we'll guide you through the Apple refund process and make sure it succeeds.

Bugs & feature requests

The fastest way is email : support@rundr.me. Include : your phone model, iOS version, the city you were generating in, and what you expected vs. what happened. Screenshots help enormously.

The algorithm modules (POI density, anchor selection, overlap detection) are open source at github.com/Sv3n-Sk4/RUNDR — bug reports and PRs welcome.
